I didn't mean to mass distribute that infogram about local economies, but since I did, I'll fill you guys in on what I'm thinking aboutl
Take a look at these charts and graphs. They tell me that it SUCKS to be a poor, disabled, non english speaking person in my community trying to just feed yourself and your family. I'm sick of it.
I've worked in restaurants all my life and one thing I've noticed is that they almost always put Profit over People and Planet, and I'm going to change that.
I've saved $35000 and am buying a small pizza place and am going to turn it into a sustainable business model. And them I'm going to create another small sustainable business, and so on and so forth, creating more jobs and opportunities and most importantly keeping the $ in the community.
