Anniversary Party Spotlight Videos
Models coming to our anniversary party: we have hired a videographer to do to two things: record footage of the official 9pm-12 party, and record Spotlight Videos for you.
What’s a Spotlight video? You know how you can select 2 videos to put on the Spotlight area of the site? Our videographer will interview and record you being sexy, and cut it into a cool video that will make people want to subscribe to your page. We’ll use it in the Spotlight area, and also find a special place to put it on your main page, so everyone can see it.
This is free for you. We are paying for it.
Scott Rogers is the videographer and he is booking people in 20-minute increments on the 12th, 13th and 14th in a room at the Hard Rock. Schedule a time with him by emailing him directly at email@example.com. He’s not reading the replies here, so you must email him to grab a time slot. He only has 22 time slots and there are over 100 models coming. So jump on this quickly.
Models: if your JFF url is different than your Twitter URL (not many of you), you can now still log in via twitter. It no longer changes your name. To adopt to a new twitter name, reconnect twitter via the Social Apps page. Eventually you’ll be able to change your url. But not rn
Today, fast-growing community and fan platform JustFor.Fans launched a first in the industry: the ability for models to share revenue with other models for movie sales.
The functionality, which currently works on individual movie purchases made through the Movie Store, allows users to select up to 10 models who contributed to that movie, and select which percentage of sales that user should receive. The JustFor.Fans platform automatically pays each user the correct amount when a purchase is made.
There are several reasons users might use this feature. Two models who film together could each make 50% on the sale of the movie. Currently, sales made on an individual’s model store (from their profile page) is attributed 100% to them. But movies sold from the Movie Store (a general store on JFF that lists movies by genre and not user) can have their revenue split. Based on feedback from the community, the rules about where these rev shares manifest could evolve.
Or a group of models might create a movie together that is only available for sale in the Movie Store, and they each split the revenue from that sale.
Dominic Ford, creator of JustFor.Fans, says, “There are many ways this revenue-sharing model will take shape on the site. This is the first of several projects that utilize this back-end functionality. This further goes to our goal of fostering a community in which everyone can help each other succeed.”
Today, JustFor.Fans, the fast-growing fan/community platform, has launched a Business Directory. The goal of the directory is to connect models with service providers who can help models maximize their profits, and let them concentrate on what they do best: creating content.
The business directory lists videographers, photographers, editors, location rentals, and marketing professionals who all want to help models succeed by offering them their services at affordable prices. All verified models have access to the Business Directory.
Says JFF creator Dominic Ford, “JustFor.Fans is a community platform that connects models to their fans. In 2019 we are expanding what we mean by ‘community’ and this is one of several initiatives that seek to grow and solidify JustFor.Fans as a central hub of communication in the adult industry. The Business Directory helps the community by connecting vendors with models who might need their services. So many models are great at creating content, but don’t have the skills to edit their movies, market themselves well, etc…, and there are many service providers interested in working with these models. We are helping create a marketplace to support our community. By working together, everyone can have a shot at being successful.”
The marketplace is launching with several key partners, and more will be added in time. Legrand Wolf, CEO of Carnal Stars, says, “We are very excited to be a launch partner in the JustFor.Fans Business Directory. JFF is creating an amazing community for sex workers and those who support them. Carnal Stars offers selected models a killer marketing machine without requiring them to learn the ins and outs of affiliate marketing. We offer models key tools to quickly grow their JFF business, turning non-subscribed fans into high-paying JFF customers.”
Ford adds, “The business directory is one of many projects we have in store to increase the productivity of our models and help support the entire industry.”
All vendors are welcome to submit applications by messaging @JustForFansSite on the JustFor.Fans platform.
For the last month we have been rendering videos behind the scenes in HD 1080p. Today we have released those versions on the site. Note that if the originally uploaded file wasn't 1080p, our "HD" version will be the highest resolution that was uploaded. You can choose between the HD version and the regular SD versions in the player.
Only one pinned post is allowed now. That's easier for you maintain. It was getting out of hand with people having 10 pinned posts and users couldn't see new content. So pinning will replace what's already pinned.
