Built and Run By Sex Workers

So many fan platforms say they are "built/run by sex workers," but they aren't.

JustFor.Fans is built by, and is RUN by, sex workers. And we might be the only fan platform that can truly say that.

We thought we'd list our staff, along with their JFF pages if they have them, and their industry credits.

We would love to see just how staffed with sex workers these other platforms are, and if they were really "created by" them, if they are run by them, or if they just hired one sex worker to be a public face after they realized they needed that kind of credibility.

Why is this important? You should know if a platform is just trying to gain traction in the adult space before "mainstreaming" (and disowning sex workers), and if the staff really understands the industry, models' needs, and if they think like performers, or just treat performers like an outsider would.

@DominicFord - Creator, Back-end and Front-end Programming, Database Development, System Design and all Technical Development. 13 years in the industry. Producer and model at, creator of Hall of Fame/Lifetime Achievement Awards from Grabbys, Cybersocket, and tons of awards from XBIZ, GayVN, Hustlaball Europe, CCBill Awards, etc...

Emerson Ford - JFF Graphic Designer and Javascript Developer, Co-owner of, worked in front of and behind camera but is retired now from performing. 13 Years in the industry.

@AliceSkary - JFF Model Liaison. Performer for 15 years.

@topherdrewxxx - Former JFF Social Media Coordinator, Performer for 4 years.

@benjivega - JFF Instagram Coordinator, Performer for 2 years.

Anthony John - JFF Event Director, JFF Podcast Creator and Talent, DragFor.Fans Director. 11 years in the adult industry, mainly on the production side, working for major porn studios, and event director for major adult-related parties/events, like Hustlaball.

@Rose_Tattoo_JFF - JFF Model and Fan Customer Service (English, Spanish, French). She came to us via her husband, who is in the adult space and has been one of Dominic's most important vendors for 13 years, through and now JFF.

Jhon - JFF Model and Fan Customer Service (English, Spanish, Portuguese). He has been with JFF for 3 years as it's first customer service person. He has been a model coach to webcam models (including Chaturbate models) for 5 years.

So that's our complete staff (former and current). 8 out of 8 are sex workers or have been in the porn industry for years. 6 out of 8 are/were in front of the camera, and 5 out of 8 have active pages on JFF.

Time to ask the other platforms who claim they are "built by sex workers" to be more specific.

US MODELS: Did you either lose or not receive your 1099? Now you can have it emailed to you. Go to your PAYOUTS page, and look for the link after the year-end rollup. It gets emailed to the email address on your BANKING PAGE (which might be different from your login one).

A year ago, we reduced the minimum payout to $20 (from $50), in order to help people get paid out during the pandemic.

This was never meant to be a permanent change: We thought this would only have to last 2-3 months and it has now been a full year.

We knew this would cost us money (we pay the payroll companies every time we pay someone out), but for 2-3 months it was worth it to make sure our models were getting money quicker during this scary time.

Reducing the minimum to $20 has cost us an extra $44,000 in payroll fees.

Starting May 1st, we will go back to the $50 minimum.

We are thinking of other ways get money in your pockets sooner, and we will update as we make progress on that.

1099-NEC Update

There was a small snafu with the way taxes were filed. This year, the government changed how non-employee compensation should be filed. Instead of a 1099-Misc form (which it has always been), there is a new form called a 1099-NEC form. We had sent out 1099-MISC forms, however.

So, we are submitting corrections to the 1099-MISC form, setting your "other income" to $0, and then sending out the correct 1099-NEC. Please make sure you receive both the corrected form and the new form.

All this means is that when you are filing your taxes, place income you made from us under the "non-employee compensation" box and not the "other income" box.

We are sorry for the extra paperwork and confusion.

Update on taxes

the service we use introduced an email only option. Many of you wrote in asking us NOT to send you physical mail, so we are using the email only option.

As of Thursday they had not been emailed out yet, even though everything was submitted already. We are not sure why and will follow up with the service on Monday.

Important Tax Information

1 Who will receive a 1099 from us? US models who made more than $600 last year. (Check your Payouts page if you are unclear).

2. How do we send it to you? We first try via the EMAIL address on your BANKING PAGE (which might be different from the address on your account page). The system we use, efile1099, will then physically mail the 1099s to your postal addresses IF you don't retrieve the digital version.

3. UPDATE your email address and postal address on your BANKING INFORMATION page to make sure you receive the 1099. We will not be sending them out manually after the automated process completes. Last year, a LOT of 1099s were returned to us due to old postal addresses. Making sure your information is current is your responsibility.

4. We will start the automated process of sending 1099s out on Jan 15. They will show "JFF Publications, LLC" as our name. That gives you two weeks to make sure your information is correct.

5. Note that we now require you to log in directly from Twitter in order to update your banking information. So if you can't edit it now, log out, log in via twitter and try again.

New site is LIVE!

Thank you for helping us test it. If there are any major issues (like if we see sales dip), we will regress back to the original site. But fingers crossed we are finally here!

Go to to play around with it.

This represents a VERY different version of JFF. We are extremely excited about it and think it's easier to use. And there are some new features, like in-profile searching, audio-only posts, etc.. We hope you like this upgrade to the site.

A few things:

"Beta" means we are still coding, fixing and building the site. So some things might not work or be implemented. If you think you have found a bug, click on HELP, then use the Contact Us form and select "Bug" as the category. Don't DM or tweet us. Only report bugs via that form.

Please don't complain on twitter that something isn't working. If you want a stable version of the site, use the existing site. The Beta site is a work in progress. So please understand that before you start kicking the tires!

Thank you, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on the new version of JustFor.Fans!
